This provides a legal framework for the care, treatment and rehabilitation of persons who are mentally ill, defining admission procedures, the creation of Review Boards for administration and the repeal of certain laws. The Act is followed by the implementation regulations.

This Act provides for an integrated and co-ordinated disaster management policy that focuses on preventing or reducing the risk of disasters , mitigating the severity of disasters, emergency preparedness, rapid and effective response to disasters and post-disaster recovery. It also provides for the establishment of national, provincial and municipal disaster management centres and disaster management volunteers.

This Act amends the Probation Services Act of 1991, so as to insert certain definitions and make further provision for programmes aimed at the prevention and combating of crime. It also extends the powers and duties of probation officers and provides for the assistant probation officers. This Act also provides for the mandatory assessment of arrested children, provides for the establishment of a probation advisory committee and provides for the designation of family finders.

This amendment Act makes changes to a wide range of legislation.

This Act aims to facilitate and regulate electronic communications and transactions. It contains provisions on a national e-strategy, an electronic transactions policy, and legal requirements for various bodies and processes. It also contains provisions relating to security, including consumer protection, protection of personal information, protection of critical databases, cyber inspectors and cyber crime. The Act also deals with domain name authority and administration and limiting service provider liability.

This Act sets out the conditions under which people may enter the country, stay in the country and leave the country.
