This Act establishes the Academy of Science of South Africa and sets out the institutions objectives, functions and method of work. It also states how the academy will be managed and governed.

This Act establishes the General and Further Education and Training Quality Assurance Council and provides for quality assurance in education and training. It also sets out control over norms and standards of curriculum, assessment and certification.

This Act establishes the Agricultural Debt Account and provides for the use of the account as a way of managing agricultural debt repayments. It sets out how the account is to be administered and for what purposes the funds in the account may be used.

This act aims to establish a Financial Intelligence Centre and a Money Laundering Advisory Council in order to combat money-laundering activities. It imposes certain duties on institutions and other persons who might be used for money laundering purposes. Also it aims to amend the Prevention of Organised Crime Act, 1998, and the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000; and to provide for matters connected therewith.

This Act establishes a Financial Intelligence Centre and a Money Laundering Advisory Council in order to combat money laundering activities. It also imposes duties on institutions and other persons who might be used for money laundering purposes to inter alia identify their clients, keep records and report suspicious transactions.
