Premier Ebrahim Rasool, MEC Jacobs, sport leaders and parents will bid TEAM WESTERN CAPE farewell at a function to be held at the City of Cape Town.

Team Western Cape which comprises of 450 athletes from various sport codes leaves for Durban by train this evening to represent the Province in the S.A Games from 24-28 September 2005. S.A Games have been recognized as a breeder of athletic talent both in Western Cape and elsewhere in the country. These games have seen athletes grow literally from Grassroots to Glory, representing South Africa at international level.

Team Western Cape was finalized recently following regional and provincial trials to select the best team. Premier Rasool is expected to motivate the team to bring us pride.
