Support for the Cape Film Industry (Cape Film Commission)
DESCRIPTION:
The Provincial Government supports the film industry through the Cape Film Commission.

The Cape Film Commission is the official advocate for the feature film, television, video, commercials and stills photography production industry in the Western Cape. A Section 21 (not-for-gain) company that was formally launched in January 2001, the Cape Film Commission combines the film-related interests of the City of Cape Town and the Provincial Government of the Western Cape under an independent, autonomous organisation.

The Cape Film Commission can manages an online database of production services and general services available in the Western Cape that are of interest to the film industry.
